B. Janell Moran-Kenny, DDS

Dr. Moran-Kenny grew up in the Panhandle of Texas in Amarillo. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University in 1983 and then her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1987. She has been practicing dentistry with a passion for 20 years and has been in her current business location since 1994. During the span of her career, Dr. Kenny has developed a real skill for recreating beautiful, natural-looking form and function in teeth. Patients routinely comment that not only is their dental work very pretty, but the procedures were not at all uncomfortable. Dr. Kenny firmly believes that this is possible not only because of her compassionate, gentle care but also because of her small hands! What an asset for a dentist! And, for Dr. Kenny and her staff, patient comfort is a high priority. Dr. Kenny is proud of the warm and caring environment and attitude of her office and staff. Patient treatment needs are presented candidly and thoroughly so that patients understand their needs and their options. Dr. Kenny understands that having dental treatment done can feel like a very "personal" decision and she wants the patient to participate in the process where possible.

Dr. Kenny pursues many hours of continuing education every year in all aspects of dentistry and enthusiastically employs new materials and techniques for her patients' benefit. Dr. Kenny is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Dallas County Dental Society. and the Dallas Executives Association. She and her husband, Wil, have two lovely children. As a family, they enjoy basketball, boating and waterskiing and they are also active in their church.

Office Team

Jason, Office Manager
Jason grew up in nearby Richardson, TX. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University. Jason has over 14 years experience in the dental field. He joined Dr. Kenny's staff in 2007 and he brings with him a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for office and administrative technology. His positive attitude and "can do" approach are welcome assets to both the patients and the practice.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys cycling, restoring classic vehicles and spending time with his family and friends.

Karla, Dental Hygienist
Karla, our hygienist, has been involved in the field of dentistry for more than 15 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Baylor College of Dentistry Caruth School of Dental Hygiene. Karla is an active member of the Dallas Dental Hygiene Society, a delegate for TDHA, and a Mentor.

Outside of work, Karla enjoys staying active by running and doing yoga. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

Hilda, Dental Assistant
Hilda is a dental assistant who has worked in the dental field since 1998. She has been a member of Dr. Kenny's team since 2005. Her skills in dental assisting are a tremendous asset to Dr. Kenny, improving the office's efficiency and helping patients feel relaxed.

Outside of work, Hilda stays busy by spending time with her husband and keeping up with their five beautiful children ranging in ages from 6 months to 10 years old.

Esmelda, Sterilization Tech
Esmelda grew up in Honduras where she received her high school diploma. She relocated to Dallas in 1992. Esmelda began her dental career right here in Dr. Kenny's office in 1995. During the past twelve years at Dr. Kenny's office she has just about perfected her role as sterilization assistant for the entire office. Because of her behind-the-scenes work, patient treatment flows smoothly.

Esmelda has one beautiful daughter and one handsome son.
